HOW I WORK
I work as a guide, helping to create a safe non-judgmental environment in which to empower clients to understand where their behaviors come from. In so doing, they are able to have more control over the choices they make. My goal is to help you feel compassion for yourself with regard to your past actions and choices. Together we can discuss strategies to help you move forward in your life successfully. It appears that anxiety/depression in its many manifestations can keep us frozen and stuck. Therapy doesn’t need to take a long period of time. Often, it may be effective in just a few sessions when dealing with a specific concern. Therapy can also take a longer period of time when working through deeper issues, such as recognizing & processing childhood trauma. The most vital human need is to be noticed – to feel recognized, heard & acknowledged.
